Lia and Ryann tied the knot at the beautiful West Coast Wilderness Lodge in Egmont, BC, in July of this year. Having only chatted on the phone prior to the wedding, I was super excited to meet the couple. Lia was super-organized and fitting into their day was a breeze. No detail was left to chance – this day was so put together that it appeared effortless – a feat when planning a destination wedding!
Lia and Ryann opted for a first-look before the ceremony – allowing them (and the bridal party!) time to create some portraits and focus on the marriage celebrations after the ceremony. It was definitely the right choice.
When I found out that Lia was bringing a vintage red velvet couch and chair to create an “outdoor living room”, I was giddy. The red couch plays so well with the teal bridesmaid accents!
And for some last minute preparations: flower petals for the aisle and champagne glasses ready for toasting the Mr. and Mrs…
The view for the ceremony is epic. There are no words.
And the champagne toast and group photo:
The details? I could have spent the day capturing all the little nuances all over the lodge created and curated by Lia and family. Amazing.
A couple snapshots of the toasts and frivolity after dinner…
And last but not least – dancing! Oh, and fun with sparklers.
A million thanks to Lia, Ryann, family and friends for a spectacular day. I hope your honeymoon was amaaaaazing!
