Here is another beautiful, talented, graceful Grad - Rachel. She was a tour de force during her session and was no match for the INSANE wind! Leave her some love below... XO
It's hard to believe it's over already. I feel like our senior students spend the entire year thinking, talking, ideating, dreaming, (stressing!) and planning over one day, and it's here and gone. It's such a privilege to be able to shoot this amazing time in these young people's lives - Erinn is no exception. Leave her some love. XO
This session has been a long time coming. We shot this back in September and Cara has been so patient waiting for it. I wanted to roll it out when the studio was a little bit quieter and people had stopped thinking about weddings and started looking forward to Grad! I'm getting lots of inquiries already... and it's never too early to start thinking about booking your upcoming shoot as many key dates book early.
So, back to Cara. What a natural beauty! Not only that, she was kind and up for anything... a perfect combination for any shoot. And luckily for me, she's my Grad Rep, so I know that she'll rock it in the Spring for her formal session. Here's Cara - a Kennedy Photografik 2014 Grad Rep. Want to know more about sessions? Just ask her! One of my favourite trends for Grad photography is a group session. Not only is it cost effective, but it's a lot of fun to get dressed up with your besties and head out to get some great shots together. This session was no different.
Jessie arranged the whole thing and brought her walking partner, Curtis, and friend, Kaela, along... they were SO much fun! I loved the late-night sunset feel of these images. They all look amazing and happy and mature... lovelovelove! Hillary was selected as one of my Grad Reps for 2014 - she absolutely owned the camera in her fall session (see here!), and I was so excited to see her glammed-up for her Spring portraits, and I was even more thrilled to learn that she was inviting her friends, Hannah and Courtney, along for the afternoon. Are they gorgeous, or what?
We had fun frolicking in a field for some natural, classic images, and then went deeper into the forest and played with some off-camera lighting for some drama. They were up for anything, and their images were awesome. Just like them. |
